Diorlena Caruthers is an Associate Attorney at Delk McNally LLP. Her practice includes business litigation, personal injury, employment discrimination, and medical malpractice. Diorlena represents individuals, small businesses, and employers in a variety of civil matters, including breach of contract disputes, EEOC claims, and negligence actions.

Diorlena has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court. She has handled complex matters involving medical records, workplace disputes, and commercial conflicts. Her litigation work includes drafting and arguing dispositive motions, managing discovery, and developing case strategies tailored to her clients’ goals. Fluent in Spanish, Diorlena’s previous experience as a Spanish Medical Interpreter brings a unique advantage in personal injury and medical malpractice cases involving Spanish-speaking clients.

Before becoming licensed in 2022, Diorlena worked as a legal assistant and intern in several practice areas, including family law, immigration, and civil litigation. That early, hands-on experience shaped her practical and client-focused approach to the law.

A Missouri native, Diorlena earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri–Columbia and her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. While in law school, she earned Pro Bono Honors, completed certification in mediation and conflict resolution, and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Remedies. She is admitted to practice law in Indiana and Missouri.

Diorlena lives in Muncie with her husband, Buzzy, and their son.
